Founder & Lead Hospice Compliance Consultant

Joshua Simpson is a registered nurse and hospice compliance specialist with over 15 years of experience supporting hospice agencies in clinical documentation, eligibility, coding, and survey readiness. He founded Hospice Compliance & Coding Solutions, LLC to deliver practical, RN-led compliance guidance grounded in real-world hospice practice.

Joshua combines clinical expertise with operational insight to help agencies strengthen documentation, improve coding accuracy, and reduce compliance risk without adding burden to frontline staff. As a Certified Hospice and Palliative Nurse (CHPN), he partners with hospice leadership teams nationwide to provide clear, defensible, and compassionate compliance support—so care teams can stay focused on patient care.

Co-Founder & Director of Operations

Martin Saalfrank oversees operations, client coordination, and internal systems at Hospice Compliance & Coding Solutions, LLC. With a strong background in business operations and workflow management, he ensures engagements run smoothly, efficiently, and with a high level of responsiveness.

Martin plays a key role in client onboarding, scheduling, project coordination, and ongoing support, helping hospice agencies experience a seamless partnership from start to finish. His focus on organization, communication, and process improvement allows the clinical team to remain focused on delivering high-quality, defensible compliance support.
